• 7–10 years of overall software engineering experience with 3–5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• Strong technical background with hands-on understanding of backend/platform fundamentals
• Ability to operate at code-level depth when needed (design reviews, debugging, guiding engineers)
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex, distributed systems
• Track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
• Experience working on developer tools, internal platforms, or productivity systems
• Strong ability to influence and align stakeholders across teams
